The organisation represents over 150 leading global and European banks and other significant market players. Its members underwrite approximately 90% of European corporate and sovereign debt and around 85% of European listed equity capital issuances, reflecting the breadth of AFME's reach within the industry.
AFME advocates for deep and liquid secondary markets and pursues policy frameworks that facilitate sustainable and digital finance.
