Pyth Data Association, founded in 2021 and based in Zug, Switzerland, operates the Pyth Network, a first-party oracle network that delivers real-time financial market data from institutional sources directly to blockchain applications. The network aggregates price data from over 120 leading financial institutions and publishes it on-chain with sub-second update speeds across more than 100 blockchains.

The Pyth Network Oracle provides over 3,000 price feeds spanning cryptocurrencies, equities, foreign exchange pairs, commodities, and indices. These feeds support more than 600 dependent applications, serving DeFi protocols, cryptocurrency exchanges, and other financial market data consumers.

The association's technical work centres on oracle networks, blockchain data feeds, and decentralised finance infrastructure. In a notable development, the U.S. Department of Commerce selected Pyth Network to verify and distribute economic data on-chain, signalling growing government interest in decentralised technology.
