Vinted operates Europe's leading second-hand fashion marketplace, connecting members to buy and sell used clothing, kids' items, luxury handbags, electronics, books and other goods across more than 20 markets in Europe and North America. Founded in 2008 by Milda Mitkutė and Justas Janauskas, the company is headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, where it became the country's first unicorn company in 2019. It employs over 2,200 people and is venture-backed, with investors including Accel, EQT Growth, Insight Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

The business spans several regulated domains. Vinted Marketplace is Europe's largest online C2C marketplace for second-hand fashion, with millions of members trading every day. Vinted Pay provides secure, reliable payments for buyers and sellers across Europe. Vinted Go extends the shipping experience through a pick-up and drop-off point network of more than 500,000 locations, working with over 60 carrier partners. The company's technical work covers online marketplace platforms, logistics and shipping technology, payments technology, e-commerce and mobile applications.

Operations are distributed across offices in Vilnius, Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg and Paris, serving markets in Europe and North America. Categories traded on the platform include second-hand fashion, kids' goods, luxury handbags, electronics and books.

Vinted states its mission as making second-hand the first choice worldwide, with a focus on the circular economy and making the most of goods already in circulation.
