White Cube
Contemporary art gallery founded in 1993, representing over 70 artists and estates across galleries in New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong and Seoul.
White Cube is a contemporary art gallery founded in 1993. It represents more than 70 international artists and artist estates, and operates galleries in five cities across three continents: New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong and Seoul. The gallery presents exhibitions in each of these locations, alongside off-site projects and an online programme of exhibitions.
Exhibition programming spans more than 30 years and features leading contemporary artists as well as late 20th-century masters. The gallery has staged first UK exhibitions by a number of respected artists, among them Tracey Emin, Julie Mehretu, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Luc Tuymans.
The organisation describes itself as purposefully artist-led, supporting and promoting the creative ambitions of influential artists. Its stated founding belief is that art has the power to enrich people's lives. Operations extend across the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Hong Kong and South Korea, encompassing physical gallery spaces, projects realised outside those spaces, and a digital exhibition programme.
