ClearBank is a regulated clearing bank and, by its own account, the first new one established in the United Kingdom in more than 250 years. Founded in 2017, it provides financial institutions and corporations with direct access to real-time payment clearing and embedded banking services through a cloud-native, API-first platform. The company operates entirely in the cloud with no legacy systems and serves more than 250 institutional clients across the United Kingdom and Europe, spanning banking, financial services, fintech, digital assets and corporates.

Its core offering, real-time payment clearing, processes more than 25 million transactions monthly. Complementing this is a suite of embedded banking services delivered to the same client base over the same platform. Technical work centres on cloud-native infrastructure, API-first platform development, real-time payment clearing technology and embedded banking services.
