Founded in 1955 by Andrew Gotianun Sr. and Mercedes Gotianun as a second-hand car financing business, the group now conducts its activities through subsidiaries including East West Banking Corporation, Filinvest Land Inc., Filinvest Hospitality Corporation, FDC Utilities Inc. and Luzon International Premiere Development Inc., which operates Clark International Airport.
